Cripes thats a lot of extra fuel and money for only 2 extra horses if you have a top of the line engine too start with.
I can see a lot of people diss agreeing with the exta volume of fuel used. But they probabably were not getting 10% more power over there petrol setup.
Mick don`t get me wrong here because I know where and who your figures are from and I have more sense than to argue

Dellorto recommend that a switch of fuels requires a change in jet size.
Changing from petrol (stoicometric 14.7) to methanol (stoicometric 6.5) will require a 50% increase in jet size.
Also a change in some internal parts (needle valve and seat size) and replacing any nylon parts is advisable.

my brother Tim played with it for a while in his cag & yes he got some pretty good power gains but the hassell of getting it all sorted took him quite a few goes, he useda chinese 14/14 rep carb, also when you are finished you have to run the bike with some normal fuel other wise the methonal will reck the gaskets in your engine
