I just discovered the hard way, a potentially dangerous floor in the Dellorto carby. The little guide pin that keeps the slide square in the bore, can come lose and 'fall' back out of the carby housing. This caused my throttle to jam wide open....in my driveway.....between the house and the missus's car needless to say my bike attempted to commit murder/suicide on me. Result, destroyed lower faring, chewed up chain (100 pieces) external scratches to the clutch housing....and 2 injured legs Hope i can make it out there tomorrow

hope your ok .. what part do you mean there is a guide i can recall but its looks made into the carbie where the slide sits or is there more?

Thats it, i just tapped it back into place and added a little Epoxy resin to secure it in place permanently. Definitely done some damage to my left calf and right knee cap....not good
