The all metal clutch that we have been asking about is here, Pocket Racing Bikes have 30 sets ready to go. I should have one set up on my bike for the next round, if your interested in getting one of these set up's for your machine, either PM me or contact Danny from PRB his contact details can be found in my sig at the bottom of this post.

As posted elsewhere, the shoes are direct replacements for existing BZM 2 or 3 shoe clutches. No need to change BZM bell either. Not tested with Zochi or Polini plates or bells.

I look forward to reviews and feedback from the people I know.
It sounds like a brilliant step forward in clutch technology on our pocket bikes. Big props to BZM.

so after having them for a while whats peoples thoughts? worth it or stick with the carbon?

also whats the wear like? if you have to replace the bell with the delta it could get expensive if the clutch only last a few months

I have one, but from what i have heard about them chewing bells up...i opted for the safe line and stuck with the 2 shoe BZM set up. If you want to run at the front, you NEED to be able to pull out of the corners HARD...any 'lag' or 'bogging down' will result in being passed.

After running PB times 3 x race meetings ago using the 3 shoe carbon pads, I switched to the 3-shoe delta to test these. Initially the shoes were simply replaced with no changes to anything else. The initial 'bite' was awsome, but then after a lap or two, the bike seemed to lag. A slow process followed of changing things one at a time and now I have found a consistent performance is achievable. The clutch has so far completed 3 x race meetings, so durability is very good. There are no signs of adverse wear on the bell either. The shoes engage around 9000rpm and I changed the gearing to 10:1 from 9.66:1 and immediatly found that the lag was no longer a problem. The grip offered is great and durability is very good. Lap times are coming back down as I adapt to the new characteristics of the bike.
If you are considering a delta clutch solution, some time is required to adjust the setup but the advantage is a long wearing clutch.
