As well as bike performance, rider ability is still required and we have no idea as to the ability of any of the riders competing in UEM Very Happy
I know DM do not officially put a team in the UEM Cup and GRC has in the past. Italian Gianluca Bandini is a previous UEM Cup winner on both GRC and DM in Open class. I dont see names such as Luigi Oriole and Matteo Tiraferri, so I know that not all top riders are participating. However, winners are still winners Wink

Thats just like saying Spooky only won the NSW title because Al didn't race in 2007.
What rubbish!! Rolling Eyes

All riders win on their ability aganist those who compete, reguardless of who WAS better. Smile

Just like Spooky deserves his title for 2007, as he is the best NSW rider for 2007. Wink

You need to understand the context of the UEM Cup. It is a European centred championship which pulls in most competitors of the non-Italian nations. The Italian national championship remains the strongest minimoto competition in the world today. If you look thru the competitor list you will see many riders from Czech Republic, Norway, Denmark, Germany. France etc and a few Italians amongst them.
The winners of the respective UEM classes are deserved winners as well as the machines they compete on - it is a different championship and not like a World Superbike/MotoGP where all constructors are represented as bona-fide factory teams.
The exact same issue is evident with the titles OzMinimoto are promoting. Not every rider is competing at every round. See what I mean?
