i have always sold polini and bzm parts as for zocchi only used the parts on my race bikes and wasnt a big fan of there stuff, each to there own!!!!!!!!!!! never sold zocchi gear.

hey danny? if the zocchi parts were not as good as bzm, why would you run them on your race bikes? Shocked wouldn't you rather run the best parts for racing Shocked Wink

john i understand what your saying, but if these pads are the best wouldn't it be a wise idea to have them interchangeable with other backing plates, to broaden their market exposure? Wink

In regards to the interchangeability questions - I represent the suppliers of both products and as such it would not be in mine/their interests to suggest that either are 100% interchangeable. As stated they are all derived from the Polini 2-shoe design and have evolved fairly similarly up until recently with the release of 3-shoe designs. Experiment as you will with a hybrid setup, but I will only suggest as always, the use of like for like so I do not intend to mix the two nor test them as a hybrid.

really good, just need to get it dyno tuned, my carby tuning is much to be desired Confused , but i'm learning an much as i can about it, but you neet the right equipment to read the exhaust gasses, and temp, tuning by feel is ok but not as close Confused , i think i can get a few ponies with the right tuning, i think the main jet is too big, and the needle jet and needle is wrong but i cannot seem to get the right size i want from the bike shops here, i may try to get a set of jet drills and do it myself, but i will do that when i get it dynoed Wink

oh and dont take offence to the post, that's just the way they come across and i like stirring Wink

Here is a little feed back from the UK forum.

Tried them on the dyno on Josh's bike, and the wear is excellent, and they run on your normal drum (no need for special drums)......although wud probably be better to start with a new drum to match to the shoes.

After quite a few runs to bed clutch in, it was wound up to the correct rpm to engage (as we would do with a normal clutch). When the clutch was cold it engaged the same as a normal clutch would (when warm), but when the clutch was hot, it started to bog slightly (thus the stronger springs....blata springs...are needed).

The clutch we tried was a 3 shoe aswell, whereas we only normally use 2 shoe on Josh's proddy.

I was refering to the new delta clutch shoes.
The quote is from the UK forum.

I received some info from BZM.
They have informed me that the standard or self cooling BZM clutch drum is okay to use with the new clutch.
Setting up of the clutch is the same as any normal clutch.
Life expectancy is 3 to 5 times longer than a carbonium clutch.

The Blata springs are 2.5mm thick, but may also be a tighter turn, as per why the UK forum says use Blata springs maybe.
