Valentino Rossi has restored the proper New World order with his emphatic win at the Jerez circuit in Spain. The top 10 from qualifying were within 3/10 of a second of each other. Incredible

Colin Edwards backed up the Yamaha team with a third from Pedrosa, who rode quite well despite the huge pressure of the home crowd.
Casey Stoner rode with his new found maturity and outclassed his more experienced team mate Loris Capirossi by a loooong margin and was improving his position quite rapidly toward the race end. This seems to be a feature of the Bridgestone tyres, which provide good grip late in a race.
Nicky Hayden, well...
John Hopkins, well...
Chris Vermuleun, well...
In 250, Ant West rode to a creditable top 10 finish on non factory machinery. Well done Ant.
An enjoyable w/e of MotoGP action
